Telecoms Support Engineer - Gateshead - £20,000 - £25,000

Your Role:
As a Supporting Telecoms Engineer, you'll be an integral part of our dedicated team, working closely with the Operations Director to deliver an unparalleled service t to our valued telecoms clients. You will serve as the first point of contact for technical support, offering both remote troubleshooting solutions and hardware escalation to engineers when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver exceptional customer service by promptlyaddressing and resolving support issues.
* Diagnose and rectify Network Services, Internet Access, and Telephone System faults, both remotely and through collaboration with colleagues.
* Create and manage support tickets through our clients advanced Autotask system, ensuring efficient communication and resolution.
* Provide adept first-line technical diagnostics to clients, demonstrating your technical acumen.
* Take ownership of cases, ensuring thorough adherence to support procedures.
* Participate in project coordination, overseeing IT and telecoms initiatives from initiation to successful delivery.
* Play an active role in after-hours support on a rotational basis.
* Contribute innovative ideas for process and system enhancements.
Experience and Skills:
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated technical aptitude in a similar role.
* Proficiency in call logging ticketing systems.
* Familiarity with Network Services, Mobile Technology, and Telephone Systems is advantageous.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills and computer literacy.
* Proven history of exceeding KPIs and teamobjectives.
