Areyou an Account Manager with Africa Destination Knowledge? We are looking for a candidate with UK market luxury travel industryexperience with a specific focus towards Africa as a region ideally from a B2B perspective. We're looking for someone with excellent industry contacts, with a 'hands on' and thoughtful approach to getting the job done.
Job Description:
* Experiencedand confident in sales representation and the general working of the UK luxury travel market
* Comfortable at presenting, entertaining and building a strong rapport with clients
* Personally, showing a real interest in travel
* Highly organized andeffortless multi-tasking skills
* Strong commercial acumen
* Excellent all-round communication skills and ability to managemultiple accounts
* Ability to deliver commercial and strategic integrated plans for a range of destinations and across a mixof UK market sales channels
* Strong contacts in place within the travel industry (including tour operators, airlines, touristboards, concierges, travel designers and agencies)
* Knowledge and interest in luxury travel and lifestyle trends
* Abilityto deliver results based on commercial targets and expectations
* Comfortable organizing and delivering high quality events and roadshows
Skills Required:
* Highly organized and effortless multi-tasking skills
* Africa Destination knowledge
* Minimum 3 years' experience within the tourism industry
The Package:
* Starting salary of £38,000 - £42,000* This role is hybrid 3 days in the office and 2 working from home
