Description:
We are recruiting for an amazing opportunity to join a fantastic company base in London. As a Business Development Sales Manager, you will recruit new travel clients by handling enquiries, proactively approach agents and new business start-ups, organise meetings for all promising leads and converting leads to membership opportunities.
DUTIES:
* Build a strong working relationship with the member partners
* Convert enquiries and ensure a smooth transition into membership
* Offer practical advice to members with regards to marketing, business efficiencies and ways of maximising income
* Be familiar with the companyproducts and services to help improve the members business
* Organise and run local, regional cluster meetings for members, enabling the members to share best practice, including virtual meetings
* Support preferred supplier policy through promoting the suppliers services to the members
* Attend events and meetings to engage with agents and develop network of contacts for drawing in new members
* Identify agency targets for potential new members and engage proactively
* Have an understanding of competitors and their propositions
SKILLS REQUIRED:
* Successfully delivering against high targets in a similar environment
* Building relationships with business partners/suppliers by phone/email/face to face
* Able to comfortably liaise with business members and address their needs
* Working with the leisure travel sector (business travel knowledge is a nice to have)
* Have extensive experience of gaining new business and client relations
* Keeping up to date with all the industry challenges
* Well versed in member engagement
* A natural and easy communicator
* Creative and yet analytical at the same time* Commercially aware
* A natural influencer and negotiator
