Do you have experience contracting hotels in Europe?
Do you have a proven track record in negotiating rates and building supplier relationships?
This reputable, London based Tour Operator has a rare opportunity for a European Contracts Manager who will be responsible for negotiating and securing the best hotel rates, whilst building strong relationships with suppliers, identify new commercial opportunities and maximise revenue for the company. The role requires frequent travel to meet withsuppliers and to closely monitor/analyse the performance in the regions.
This position would represent a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Contracting Executive or Hotel Contract Manager seeking a new challenge.
DUTIES:
* On-going review and amendments of contract content
* Product Development and introduction of new destinations
* Build and development strong supplier relationships to maximise commercial potential for the business.
* Monitor, manage and resolve system related user errors & issues with support from the relevant departments
* Ensuring SLA commitments are met.
* Responsible for regular data integrity checks which include; contract completeness and ensuring errors or omissions are corrected
* Maintain commitmentto and focus on the customer experience aligned with the purchasing and commercial goals of the business.
* Regular reportingon KPIs, workload and challenges within team.
* Forward planning for peak months.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
* Previous experience working within a tour operator
* Strong supplier relationships and negotiation skills
* Highly PC literate, competent in the use of office applications
* Numerate & analytical, can manipulate complex data
* Highly organised, good time management skills
* People management experience to include performance management & development
* Strong relationship management skills with both colleagues and suppliers
* Being fluent in relative European languages would be an advantageTHE PACKAGE:
The successful candidate will be working fully remote and can expect a basic salary up to £40,000, plus companybenefits and the opportunity for regular overseas trips.
