Are you an experienced Travel Consultant? Do you want to work with one of the top Luxury Tour Operators? We are looking for a Luxury Travel Consultant for our client who are based South West London.
You will maintain a close relationship with their client, understanding theirneeds and fulfilling all their VIP travel requirements. The Travel Consultant team will arrange private dinners and/or events invarious locations or on site for some existing and new clients. Where possible, you can use these events to promote some of their finest properties globally to their most affluent and loyal clients.
The role will provide an emplary level of service totheir clients looking after them all the way through the sales process.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* To work as part of the team & achieve / exceed an agreed sales target and
profitability level by selling brochured holidays, creating FIT's and retailing 3rd party operator's products.
* Build-up a loyal clientele by managing all the customers travel requirements and exceeding client's expectations in respect of service and attention to detail.
* Responsibility of individual reservations frominitial enquiry to final documentation & post travel follow up - To include all administration duties.
* Organise and hostprivate events for prospective and current clients.
* To be responsible for the customer journey of every client throughout the whole sales process providing a consistent and excellent level of service.
* Identify innovative ways of improving the client experience and enjoyment of Abercrombie and Kent's London Club membership.
* General office duties as agreed with the General Manager.
* Actively participate in, and implement learning from, all available hard and soft skills training.
* Providesupport to your team and sales manager with other files as required.
* Provide cover for absent colleagues so that service delivery to clients is seamless and maintained.
* Reliably follow all company processes and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency. Additionally, you should also look to make recommendations for enhancements
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Essential
*Well-travelled world-wide & have comprehensive knowledge of deluxe travel products
* Minimum 2 years Retail / Tour operating
* Must be numerate with attention to both top & bottom line
* Ability to create FIT's by multi-purchasing to create 1 travel solution for client
* Must be able to converse with demanding - high spend clientele
* Articulate, well organised and present the product to the highest of standards
Desirable
* Customer facing role
* Working knowledge of an Airline CRS
* GDS
* Word & Excel
THE PACKAGE:
The salary for this position is £26,000 plus incentive plan, working hours are Mon - Fri on a Rota basis with either Sat or Sun every 3 weeks.
