Are you looking for your next challenge within the Travel Industry?
We have an exciting new opportunity for Junior Marketing and Events Manager to join our client based in Southwest London. Responsible for creating comprehensive social media content and posting content regularly.
The Job:
* Run trade B2B Facebook page
* Monitor the social media presence and provide responses to contact from travel agent partners
* Measure and report on the success of activities
* Feeding local content to consumer social media sites via Global team(events, awards etc)
* Organise, manage, and attend all trade and consumer UK & Ireland events
* Assisting with events including creating and sending invitations and monitoring RSVPS, answering general queries
* Production of all supporting materialincluding roll-up displays, merchandise, collateral while controlling stock levels
* On site event management including standset up, staff management, liaising with customers, travel agent partners and suppliers
* Research venues and resource items andsuppliers for all events
* Report on event and campaign performance, evaluate their effectiveness
* Manage our partnerships with external B2C and B2B suppliers
* Review trade tools
* Investigate data and compile reports
* Creation of PowerPoint presentations for sales team
* Provide general support for the Marketing team, as required, across PR, print and digital.
* Managethe UK PR email inbox and respond to journalist requests
* Manage the UK marketing inbox and update all consumer database queries/opt outs
* Proof reading of brochures, direct mail, emails, general collateral
* Coordinate advert artwork/ email production for local trade/consumer messages
* Coordinate overbrand programme for tactical trade DM
* General departmental administration
* Process all UK stationary requests (business cards etc)

The Person:
* Bachelor's degree preferred or minimum GCSE level
* 2-3 years of experience in a similar position
* Experience of working in the travel sector, beneficial
* Great communication skills both written and verbal
* High attention to detail
* Very high standard of written English
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Familiar with social media
* Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks accordingly
* A self-starter who can work both independently, and as a positive team-player working towards a common goal
* Willing to travel

The Package:Salary - £26,500 - £37,400 (depending on experience)
Monday - Friday (Friday's working at home)
