Do you have experience as a Customer Service Manager, Operations / Team Manager within the travel industry? An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a specialist long haul travel company, based in the East London area. As an Operations and Customer Service Manager, you will have a vital role in managing a team ofCustomer Service and Operations Executives, leading and motivating the team and ensuring procedures are being followed.JOB DESCRIPTION:
* Distributing enquiries, monitoring individual and team booking levels
* Ensuring the team are workingtowards their goals and personal development plans
* Dealing with queries from suppliers, customers, and other departments
*Drive continuous improvements in service quality, efficiency, procedures, and customer satisfaction
* Resolve client's requests, questions and concerns regarding company's products and services
* Advise the Head of Operations of any issues or client follow ups needed
* Coaching, mentoring and encouraging the team to achieve key targets and SLAs
* Handling live customer complaints
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* Previous experience working within the travel industry is essential
* Previous experience of managing a team is essential.
* Experience dealing with complex pre departure complaints within a travel company* Excellent written and spoken English is essential
* A natural flare for problem solving
* Experience in liaising directlywith customers and suppliers with an empathetic and patient approach
* Excellent attention to detail
* A thorough understanding of ABTA and ATOL guidelines
THE PACKAGE:
* The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £35,000- £40,000 depending on experience
* Standard office hours: Monday - Friday from 09.00 - 18:00 (occasional Saturdays)
* Hybrid / flexible & remote working
