Are you a HR Manager? Do you want to work with an award-winning Luxury Tour Operator? Then this role is for you! We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Manager to join our client who are based in South West London
We are currently recruiting for a HR Manager totake the lead in the business on all people related matters, focusing on recruitment, engagement, reward and recognition and employment policy.
The role is 20 hours across the week, and we are very flexible in working with the successful candidate on how this works, whether it be longer days and less days per week (minimum split over 3 days per week) or 5 days a week with less hours so this could fit into school runs or other engagements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment
* Advise managers on the terms and conditions of employment and knowledge share best practice with them.
* Provide advice on recruitment and selection strategies.
* Support the recruitment process - including writing job descriptions and preparing interview questions and application forms etc along with organising interviews
* Advertising, application screening and interviewing as appropriate
*Carry out new starter inductions.
* Work with marketing to drive and deliver LinkedIn engagement
Policy
* Manage complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy.
*Develop HR policy and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes, owner of all company policies and procedures
* Continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement changes where necessary.
* Collation and maintenance ofappropriate employee documentation (e.g. right to work, appraisals, maternity documents, sickness documents)
Engagement* Implement learning and development policy.
* Provide first line advice on current and existing benefits for employees and managers.
* Manage talent and succession planning including organisation of annual appraisal process
* Drive alignment between HR strategy and business goals.
* Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to helpalign the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation.
* Support change management processes
* Management of exitinterview process
* Champion staff engagement and wellbeing including:
* Organise and facilitate company briefings and social events
* Reward and Recognition
* Manage and champion the employee assistance programme to get best value
EXPERIENCE:* CIPD Level 5 qualification
* Previous generalist experience across the range of HR disciplines
* Passion for travel orhospitality
* Ability to work independently with external backup from HR consultants
* Proactive and a self-starter
* Ability to build relationships and influence with all levels of the business
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsPACKAGE:
* Salary range of £35,000-£40,000 depending on experience (full time salary, this would be pro-rata for the part-time candidate)
