The Role:
The position of PR Account Support Executive will suit a motivated and entrepreneurial PR professional who wants a key role in a global, highly successful and rapidly expanding agency.
We're looking for someone with a 'can do' attitude, with established press contacts desirable. Ideally, you'll also be confident writing press releases, pitches, and social media posts and come to the table brimming with creative ideas and a hungerto succeed and get noticed. In return, you will be working with a fantastic team, who will invest time and energy in your own development and career progression.
Duties:
* Work together with the Account Manager across a range of international tourism clients including NTOs, Hotels and Resorts
* Coordinate key public relations activities
* Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
* Securing editorial opportunities for clients and thebusiness
* Content creation including press releases, pitching and other editorial copy
* Monitor, analyse and communicatePR results
* Assist with organising individual and group press trips
* Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising on an on-going basis.
* Influencer and Celebrity endorsement
* Create and distribute press releases
* Attend and manage key industry PR events
* Arrange press conferences and other public appearances
* Manage, update, and develop the agent's contact lists for UK and Ireland
* Manage new and ongoing contract process and incentives and ensure seamless and smooth delivery
* Arrange trade-focused monthly agents' trainings
* Assist with FAM trips roadshows, sales event, shows for b2b and b2c
* Monitor and update training tools
* Deliver daily, monthly, and yearly reports
Experience:
* At least 1-2 years' experience working with travel/tourism/lifestyle and consumer clients
* Good attention to detail (make sure you dot those i's and cross those t's!)
* Your organisation and time-management skills are top-notch
* Multi-tasking comes naturally to you
* Excellent grammar and communications skills (written and verbal)
* Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
* Enthusiasm and a proactive, can-do attitude
* Good teamwork skills
* A passion for travel and hospitality and hungry to learn the ins and outs of the industry
* Knowledge of UK & IE travel trade
* Confidence in working with a variety of internal systems and willingness to learn new systems
We are keen to hear from candidates with solid experience including:
* Knowledge of the media landscape including print, online and broadcast press.
* Interest in current affairs andunderstanding consumer trends
* Ability to be persuasive and ability to creatively write
* Ability to secure coverage acrossnational, regional, trade and consumer press
* Writing press releases, media pitches and other editorial content
