A successful and well establishedincoming Destination Management Company is seeking an Senior Groups Operations Executive to join their friendly and busy team in London.
This successful DMC offers comprehensive ground handling services in London and throughout the UK and Ireland for special interest groups, FIT, Conferences and Incentives.
As a Senior Groups Operation Executives you will maintain relationships with new and existing clients and putting together competitive quote for groups travelling to the UK and Ireland.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
* To understand the clients' needs and to produce suitable and competitive quotes.
* Build relationships and maintain a great working relationship with clients.
* Acknowledge and qualify all new requests (by email and phone).
* Identify the most suitable products for the client in order to create the most effective and competitive offers.
* Ensure all offers are sent out in the company's standard format and entered correctly into the operational system.
* Update the bookings inthe system with all the correct information in order to have a correct overview for yourself and the management.
* Maintain good relationships with all clients and ensure that any deadlines are met.
* Build relationships with suppliers and ensure thatyour product knowledge is kept up-to-date at all times.
* To understand and negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers in order to match clients' needs.
* To liaise with accounts and make sure that terms and conditions for payment are respected bothby clients and on our side with suppliers as per agreements.
* To prepare and double-check rooming lists and vouchers, keeping the operating system constantly up-to-date as well as keeping suppliers and clients informed.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
* Fluency in English
* A minimum of two year's experience in an inbound operator or DMC in a groups role.
* Excellent knowledgeof the UK as a destination
* Ability to research events, incentive, conference market
* Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
* Proven experience of preparing quotes and operating groups.
PACKAGE:
The successful candidate can expect a competitive basic salary of £34,000 - £46,000 depending on experience and hybrid working.
