Description:

Senior Business Travel Consultant required for successful Travel Management company in Hampshire. If you are a Senior Business Travel Consultant looking for a New Challenge, then please apply? You must be able to work with minimal supervision within the existing Business Travel Team, providing Travel Services to the existing Business Travel Clients.

Job Description:

* Be able to quote and process Air Fares to include Domestic, European, Long-haul, Route deals, Lowcost, NDC and Consolidated options in both the UK market place as well as overseas market
* Provide a minimum of 3 well definedand informed choices to all clients.
* Be able to search and offer Hotel, Car Hire, Ferries and ancillary products such as Carparking and Chauffeur Drive in the quote process.
* Be able to confidently arrange ticket reissues and refunds.
* Be able to confidently do a manual fare build, manual reissue and manual refund and be able to re-train other staff on this.
* Be ableto manage and maintain your Outlook mailbox and all other Mailboxes set up for clients.
* Be able to create and maintain client profiles in the GDS Demonstrate a good working method which proves prioritisation and organisation of workflow is understood.* Proactively contribute to staff meetings and job chats within the department
* Supervise consultants in the department andassist with training where needed/asked.
* Have a good understanding of the groups Health and safety procedures and to know where to find information relating to this and group procedures via the company's intranet
* Ensure all your back office rejectqueues are cleared and assist other staff with clearing their rejects.
* Maintain all Sabre Q's throughout the day so they are cleared. Ensure you are familiar with every Q and why the booking is there.
* Invoice out Hotel, Car and Ancillary billbacksUndertake any admin jobs as directed by your line manager.
* Attend any client visits as directed by a Manager/Director.
*Attend any industry events as directed by a Manager/Director

Skills required:

* Minimum of 3 years Business Travel experience in a Trainee or Consultant role
* Working knowledge of a GDS - Essential - Sabre
* Experience of Microsoft Word/Excel* Knowledge of a Back-office system

The Package:

* Salary of up to £26,000 (Part time also may be considered)
* This vacancy is a hybrid model of a mix of homeworking and office based.
