BusinessTravel Consultants, we have a unique opportunity to take your skills in-house and work for a security service provider, within their corporate travel team, based in Southampton. This company is an established business within offshore industries, of over 150 staff in 7 global locations.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Booking a mix of travellers (Corporate and Marine Travel)
* Al aspects of itinerary planning
* Overall quality control management of itineraries for all agents
* Policy management review ensuring best available fares and compliance to travel and savings policies
* Queue management for all agents
* Booking worldwide travel
* Global ticketing and faring
* Tracking of cancellations and refunds for all agents
* Management of rate loading for air, cars, and hotels
* GDS training, keeping all staff up to date with skill set
* Manage, train and update agents on all policies pertaining to day-to-day agent/agency requirements
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* Strong personal organisation skills - ability to effectively prioritise workloads with the ability to multitask in a busy office.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Computer literate with experience of Word, and Excel.
* Able to work under pressure and after hours if necessary.
* Significant previous UK business travel experience
* Exceptional fares knowledge
*Able to ticket based on nett and published fares
* Ability to process refunds/exchanges and re-calculations.
* In-depth knowledge of Amadeus.
* BA faring course or equivalent experience.
THE PACKAGE:
* Annual Leave: 25 days per annum pluspublic holidays
* Working hours: 8:00 a.m. to 17:00 p.m., 8:30 a.m. to 17:30 p.m., or 9:00 a.m. to 18:00 p.m., Monday throughFriday as agreed within your team. Out of hours support may be required during evenings and weekends.
* Salary is £23,000 - £32,500 pa dependent on experience.
