My client a well-established, specialist Tour Operator based looking for a USA Product Executive with a keen eye for detail to join their team as a home worker, due to growth of the business. As a Product Executive you will be responsible for supporting the execution of the product strategy in line with the companies' objectives. Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting sales team with queries regarding pricing, availability, and product information.
* Adding and updating products on ourwebsite.
* Promoting the company and maintaining excellent working relationships with its suppliers at all times.
* Liaisingwith the marketing team on special offers, marketing campaigns and specific properties.
* Support with contracting tasks andprocesses.
* Executing analysis of potential new partners for the business.
* Working with local partners and tourism boardsto develop content to be promoted through our various marketing channels.
* Creating and updating reports and spreadsheets.* Complete online training programmes to enhance personal product knowledge.
* Liaising with overseas suppliers and partners(help resolving queries and issues regarding bookings, marketing and contracts).
* Attend supplier training, presentations andevents to develop knowledge of the travel market and products and create own relationships with the hotels.
* Providing feedback and proactively contributing to the team's performance.
Skills Required:
* Results focused and committed to thevalues surrounding outstanding service delivery.
* Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
* Excellent numeracyand written English, with the ability to weave information into an engaging story.
* Advanced skills in Excel is desirable.* Previous experience in the travel industry and ideally the US as a travel destination preferred.
* Proven track record of contracting with external suppliers
* Proven track record negotiating supplier contracts and special offers
* Ability to travel to attend conferences, FAM's and events relevant to the destinations covered in both a social, training and contracting capacity.
The Package:
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience.
