We are looking for a Villas Sales Team Leader based in South West London. You will take responsibility for monitoring and supervising a team of consultant toachieve the organizations objectives and increase sales. You will also provide guidance, instruction, training, and leadershipskills to inspire the team to perform at their optimum.
Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the Sales Team Leader will assist in crating a cohesive team that works efficiently together to maximise the sales team's potential.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Team Leader
* To exceed the minimum key performance indicators and financial targets for the relevant sales team as well as their own individual targets.
* Supervising, motivating, and monitoring individual sales performances of team leaders and travel consultants.
* Set daily, weekly, or monthly sales goals and achieve the department goals, sale targets and KPI's throughmotivation and coaching.
* Assign tasks to the team members with the best skills for each job and guide staff members to ensure the work is complete to the exact standards required within a specified timeframe.
* To carry out one formal performance review with the Sales Manager every other month with each member of the team and review performance against the individual business plan.
* To prioritise coaching and development needs throughout the month to include live coaching and feedback as well as recorded call listening and feedback.
* To train, encourage, inspire, and reward team members for their achievements and ensurethat individual and team excellence is recorded and recognised at every given opportunity and fed back to the Sales Manager.* To communicate with the Sales Manager in relation to poor sales performance or customer service.
* Monitoring of the bookingprocess ensuring that the sales process is always adhered to
* Work with the sales team to ensure all enquiries are respondedto appropriately and efficiently.
Operating Procedures
* At the earliest opportunity, to contact enquiries with a viewto nurturing this initial enquiry into an active sales lead.
* To proactively ensure familiarity with all products developments in your region - most specially those promoted on the Villas website, in brochures, magazines and any other marketing collateral, including special offers.
* To routinely attend product training sessions, including participating on company sponsored educational trips.
* Attend and actively participate in all learning opportunities, offering your expertise to the training teamwere requested to increase knowledge across the business.
* Complete the relevant educational pre and post trip paperwork, including the preparation and delivery of a presentation to your team and the office
* Use effective questioning techniques to effectively establish client requirements and then use your product knowledge to find the perfect villa and to create a bespoke itinerary, matching these established preferences and requirements.
* Ability to sell all destinations within your sales department, with no requirement to specialise in specific regions
* Ensure that quotes are produced and delivered to the client within 24hrs
* To maintain an efficient, professional, and friendly relationship with the client throughout the booking process. Maintain regular contact with clients (and travel agents) to keep them informed of progress and the status of booking, includingupdating on developments.
* To call the client pre-travel (2/3 days) and post-travel (2/3 days) to seek feedback, pre-empt anyproblems and maintain a courteous relationship. Take responsibility for any post-travel problem solving in a professional, expedient, and diplomatic manner, always looking to exceed expectations and deliver total client satisfaction.
* Reliably follow all company processes and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency. Additionally, you should also look to make recommendations forenhancements.
Revenue & Profitability
* Proactively manage the progress of itineraries from initial quote through tobookings and repeat business
* Be aware of individual and team sales targets, always working to ensure these are achieved orexceeded.
* Maintain an overall blended margin for the year that is in line with the business objectives for your department.* Responsible for providing clear notes within booking system for both margin movements and discounts on all bookings.
* Collect and increase client information to ensure relevant information is retained
* Elicit and record specific reasons why a proposed trip did not result in a booking to learn directly from the client and use this knowledge in the future.
* Sign off thefile post-travel, securing repeat business and recommendations.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* Passionate about travel, especially Europe & Villas
* Team Leader or Management experience
* Proven villas sales experience (luxury capacity preferred but not essential)
* Promote a professional impression through an appropriate dress code.

THE PACKAGE:
The salary for this position is £33,00 - £35,00 plus incentive plan and benefits, working hours are Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30 or 09:30 - 18:00. Saturday working on a rota basis (average 8 per year), This is a fulltime Hybrid working role.
