Cordarrelle Patterson, Wide Receiver, Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings are hoping Cordarrelle Patterson can ease the loss of Percy Harvin. Patterson's a playmaker playing with the ball on his hands but he's far from Harvin in the majority of aspects in his play. The preseason is when the Vikings will likely put many demands on Patterson as they try to ensure that he is able to adapt to Madden NFL 24 rapidly. It should be interesting to determine how they are able to involve him.

Ziggy Ansah Defensive End, Detroit Lions

The term raw was used in almost every conversation regarding BYU defensive end Ezekiel Ansah just prior to when he was selected in the Madden NFL 24 Draft. His combination of speed and strength was enough to get him into the top five his draft spot comes with the expectation of becoming a contributor from the beginning. Given the speed at which Ansah is growing in his college career his next chapter in his career is sure to be interesting to track.

Brian Schwenke, Center, Tennessee Titans

The inside of the Titans offensive line has been an incredibly frustrating problem for the team in recent seasons, but it shouldn't remain that way after Tennessee announced the signing of guard Andy Levitre and drafted Alabama guard Chance Warmack with the No. 10 selection in the draft of April. However, fourth-rounder Brian Schwenke, a center from California and the state of California, is the interior lineman to be watching during the training camp. He was viewed as an "ordinary tools" man, but will get a shot at a starting job from the first day.

Peterson isn't a good person to be around.

Adrian Peterson erased any and all doubts about his ability to heal quickly after he rushed for 84 yards and two touchdowns in Week 1 of this past season, just eight months after undergoing major surgery to fix a torn MCL as well as an ACL. The news was announced this week that Peterson wasn't totally recovered after his hernia surgery in January although the team hopes he will be back with OTAs by May, and perhaps even voluntary training sessions in April.
