Have you decided this is the year you start riding a motorcycle? Have you been thinking about it for years and just want to get on the open road?
At Alpha Motorcycle Training, our trusted professional instructors are on hand to help you achieve your 2020 goal!
Our London CBT Training site is easily locatable and has everything you will need to successfully practice being a safe, considerate, alert motorcyclist.
So, what does CBT training actually mean for me?
CBT Training or Compulsory Basic Training is designed for those who wish to ride their motorcycle or moped unaccompanied on public UK roads. This training is a mandatory part of being a Motorcyclist and has been created as a course to be taken rather than a test to be passed. An authorized instructor will work with you during your training and assess you throughout; pragmatic presentation is key here as both theory and practical attributes are considered.
So, what does it involve?
It usually lasts one full day and consists of 5 parts within that day.
1. Introduction including eyesight checks.
2. On-site training
3. On-site riding
4. On-road training
5. On-road riding (this involves an earpiece so the instructor can address you and direct you during this practical element)
Each part is completed when the instructor recognizes and is happy that you understand the theory and physical aspects of riding a motorcycle.
At Alpha Motorcycle Training our proven track record for helping to create safe and exceptional motorcyclists is as a result of years of experience, qualified staff and instructors, key knowledge and a functional and superior training site that ensures our students are equipped with information, practical training, advice, and scenario testing all to create confident and dependable riders.
We would be happy to hear from you if you would like to know more about CBT days, motorcycle tests both practical and theory as well as more information on what license you to qualify for.
Book in for your training with us today and we will be pleased to work with you to become a certified, confident, safe and respectful motorcycle rider.
