Qualified maths teacher. I have over 10 years experience teaching students doing GCSE and Functional Skills Maths at a leading London college. I also have experience teaching ESOL, so I am used to supporting students for whom English is not their first language. I have enhanced DBS.
I tutor children who need help with their Maths: I can help students to better work on the basic skills, as well as pushing them towards higher grades (I can teach both foundation and higher tier GCSE). I can also work with students to go through anything from school that they still have difficulty understanding or need further help with.
I set and encourage students to complete additional homework, which is then followed up in future lessons.
I have some availability still. I presently mainly offer online tuition, but can do some face-to-face if you live nearby (Hillingdon).
I am normally available only during term time, but might be available outside this if I am free (morning/afternoons).
1-to-1 tuition is £30 per hour. I am also available to do small group sessions for a reduced rate. Please enquire if interested.
